When having a glorious beard, you sometimes feel it doesn’t get the attention it rightfully deserves… and Halloween is coming up in a few weeks, which makes it a perfect opportunity to showcase that magnificent face-mane of yours!
Let’s go over our 5 last-minute costumes for beards:
1. (Princess?) Leia
Make everyone’s night with rocking your beard with some space buns! Take an old bedsheet and fasten it as a robe, two bundles of yarn for the space buns, and an toy gun as your ray gun- and boom! You’re the galaxy’s favorite princess.
2. The Brawny Man
For guys with beards, the Brawny Man is the ultimate Halloween costume. All it takes is a red flannel, some blue jeans, and a roll of Brawny paper towels.
3. Yukon Cornelius
Yukon Cornelius, from the classic film, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, is a great option for bearded men (bonus points if you’re a guy with reddish-brown facial hair). For this costume, grab your winter puffer, some ear muffs, a red beanie, and pair it all with the rest of your winter clothes. Even better if you find an icepick or a reindeer plushie!
4. Bob Ross
There are no such things as mistakes, just happy little accidents. To make it a couples costume, get your partner to dress up as your happy little tree! To complete this look you’ll just need a dress shirt, a poofy wig, some blue jeans, and a painting palette!
5. Mr. T
We pity the fool that doesn’t dress up as Mr. T for Halloween! This 80s costume is not only super rad, but it’s also super easy to make at the last minute. For this simple costume, get some bling, a fake mohawk, and any funky vest of your choosing (to make it more realistic: go shirtless)!
It’s that simple! Choose any of these 5 costumes to make your beard the star of the show, and to have your best Halloween yet!

We’ve arrived at the end of another year unlike any other, 2021. Even though things have practically returned to normal, many of us have still remained at home this year. If you’re one of those guys who hasn’t tried out different beard styles yet, now is the time.
Make a fresh start in 2022 with a new beard style and try one of our 5 all-time favorites:
1. Stubble
Stubble became fashionable in the 1930s. It’s now considered a compromise between a clean-shaven appearance and a fully grown beard. The benefit of a stubble is that it is simple to maintain and does not take much time.
2. Goatee
A goatee is a style in which a man’s facial hair is concentrated on his chin rather than his cheeks. Despite being a low-effort style, the goatee manages to make a statement. The goatee also aids in the creation of a mouth frame.
3. Beardstache
The beard stache is a mix of a moustache and a beard, with the stache being longer and fuller than the surrounding hair, making it the most conspicuous portion of the beard.
4. Short Beard
A short beard is a more adaptable and corporate-friendly variant of the fully grown beard, as it is dressed down and cleaner. Not to mention, way less itchy than a full beard. Keep it trimmed with our 2-in-1 Beard Trimmer.
5. Full Beard
It takes time, work, and continuous maintenance to grow a full beard, but it’s well worth it if you succeed. A fully grown beard can also alter the shape of your face. The start of the new year is the ideal opportunity to try out a full beard!
Check out our collections of Shaving and Growth tools to shape and grow your new beard style to your liking!

You can experiment with different haircuts today, just as you can with different beard styles. You can have a full beard or a fine-looking stubble, depending on how well or quickly you can grow a beard. Leave some scruff on your face as long as you’re willing to cope with the care. This year’s classic beard (and mustache) styles are here to help you change up your look.1| The Chevron Mustache
A Chevron mustache, a style that is equal parts suburban dad and American hipster, shouts classic. You may see this entire tuft of hair on the upper lips of Tom Selleck, Joaquin Phoenix in Her, and Mahatma Gandhi. The Chevron is also one of the easiest styles to grow and maintain. A regular trim and some beard butter spell the difference between stylish and sleazy. Tip: Grow a full beard before shaving most of it off to achieve the best ‘stache.
Recommended for: Men with longer (oval and rectangular) face shapes 2| The Balbo Beard
The Balbo appears to be a little rough around the edges, but when trimmed, it doesn’t look unkempt. Italo Balbo, one of Mussolini’s henchman, was given the name Italo Balbo after one of Mussolini’s subordinates. Robert Downey Jr. appears to be the face of the look nowadays. This could explain why it has grown in popularity. The Balbo beard, unlike the Van Dyke beard, has a softer tip, almost like a boxed beard with no sideburns. The mustache, on the other hand, is “floating,” which means it’s not attached to the rest of the facial hair.
Recommended for: Guys with round faces or narrow chins or those who want a slightly tousled appearance.
3| The Full Beard
The full beard, as the benchmark for various beard types, is the textbook definition of facial hair. However, it can be challenging for those who are unable to grow a full beard. Give this a shot if you’re blessed in the genetics department and don’t mind the upkeep. Getting a complete forest of facial hair might take anywhere from four to eight weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. Then it’s time to contour and define the neckline with the clipper.
Recommended for: Men who have the ability to grow a full beard and those who don’t mind using grooming products regularly 4| The Short Boxed Beard
The contour of a full beard is similar to that of a short boxed beard, but it is molded and trimmed much closer to the face, giving the user a tidy and professional image. It’s for this reason that it’s the go-to beard for many nine-to-five workers who have to follow stricter dress regulations. This looks more polished and sharper with regular trimming and beard oil application. Simply trim less frequently for a more casual appearance.
Recommended for: Round faces; those working in corporate environments; executives who want to exude authority 5| The Handlebar Mustache It’s no wonder that many guys desire to grow the prized “handlebars,” those long, groomed, and curved upwards ends of the handlebar mustache, because it’s vintage, bold, and regal.
Trimming your whiskers, no matter how tempting it may seem, will not help you grow a traditional handlebar. Comb the mustache with a beard comb and leave a gap in the centre to encourage the hairs to grow in opposing directions. Apply beard pomade or wax, twisting the hairs up with your fingers, when it’s long enough. Alternatively, exactly like in the movies, you can wrap the mustache around a pen.
Recommended for: Fans of the vintage look; oval and rectangular faces
6| The Three-Day Stubble
You can experiment with different haircuts today, just as you can with different beard styles. You can have a full beard or a fine-looking stubble, depending on how well or quickly you can grow a beard. Leave some scruff on your face as long as you’re willing to cope with the care. This year’s classic beard (and mustache) styles are here to help you change up your look.
Best Beard Maintenance
Growing a beard may seem like the most natural thing in the world, but proper grooming and maintenance are what make the difference. When you spot a beard you like on a celebrity such as, say, Jason Momoa, chances are that the beard is groomed.
A few quick tips: For a fuller-looking beard with some shine and without the flakes, be sure to wash it every day with its own shampoo and conditioner. Also, arm yourself with a beard comb to detangle knots, beard oil to restore lost shine, and beard balm to style beard in place.
Take care of your beard using our collections now!
